Project AWAYSIS is an economic development and quality of life project for the citizens of Storm Lake, Iowa and Buena Vista County. This project has come together through a partnership of the State of Iowa, the Federal Government, the City of Storm Lake, Buena Vista County and over 250 volunteers who have contributed countless hours of time and support. This partnership seized upon the dream to create these facilities on the shore of Storm Lake and today is seeing that dream become a reality.
