A breathtaking view of the entire lake, the City of Storm Lake and Buffalo Ridge Wind Farm will be seen from the new lighthouse. On Lighthouse Pointe an authentic looking lighthouse will give visitors a spectacular view from the 40 foot high observation deck, while also serving as a beacon and the signature trademark of Storm Lake for all those to see.

A 60 foot tall lighthouse will have an observation deck which provides breath taking views of the lake and Buffalo Ridge Wind Farm from 40 feet high in the air. The lighthouse will be attached to an inn-keepers style house which will contain restroom facilities and a concession stand for beach goers and Great Lawn participants. The observation deck will be accessible by an elevator.
