Visitors to Storm Lake will enjoy staying at the new 100 room Lodge also known as King’s Pointe. The stone and wood building is the main component of Project AWAYSIS and is bound to bring more visitors to Storm Lake. With its appealing look, great view of the lake and being within walking distance of the beach, Great Lawn, and the waterpark the lodge will offer many opportunities to visitors and the people of Storm Lake.
The Lodge, now known as King’s Pointe is the cornerstone of Project AWAYSIS and will feature stone and stained wood as the main construction materials in order to provide an appealing look on the outside. The City of Storm Lake has hired Leisure Hotels and Resorts LLC, to operate and manage the Lodge and indoor water park after opening. The lodge will provide an experience in and of itself for both visitors and community members.
Overlooking the beautiful Lake Storm Lake, the lodge is a 100 room facility with 3000 square feet of convention space in the AWAYSIS Ballroom and a full service restaurant and lounge. The Regatta Grille restaurant, will not only provide great food and service, but also every seat in the restaurant and lounge will have a view of the lake and if you enjoy dining outside there is an outdoor patio as well; it’s bound to be a wonderful dining and gathering experience.
To enhance the visitors’ stay there will be docking facilities nearby so they may enjoy the lake.
With the large amount of space the lodge will be able to accommodate all those that wish to use it such as family vacations, wedding parties, regional conventions, community events and management retreats. With so many uses the lodge will be a great place for both young and old to enjoy.
