Work continues to move forward on the outdoor main pool body as crews have now poured the first section of flooring on the diving well. The crews run a sprinkler over the wet concrete covered in burlap to allow the concrete to dry slowly so it doesn’t crack or break. |

This picture looks west across the outdoor pool. In the picture the contractor has poured the slabs of concrete for the floor of the diving well and has poured the first of two pours on the sloped floor that runs from the lap lanes to the bottom of the diving well. The tall
rebar sticking up in the foreground of the frame are the beginnings of the framing for the diving well walls.

In this picture we can see that the contractor has the footing of the outside walls for the lap lanes poured and the beginning rebar set for the support of the walls of this section of the pool. Most of the sub-base for the floor of the pool is also in place. The sort of rounded area in the back of the frame will soon start taking shape as the kids play area. |

This picture looks east from the point of zero depth entry and is a good example of the underground piping that has to go in place prior to the pouring of the pool floor. |

This picture shows surveying crews who are lying out or staking the edges of the lazy river, the very first process in the construction of the lazy river. |

Another shot of the diving well of the outdoor pool but here we can see the progress on the rebar that will help form the walls along the back of the diving well. |

This picture shows the main part of the outdoor pool with the underground piping done and the footings around the pool poured. |
